Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes - the older chargers/power cords have a larger plug, this converts the large magnetic plug to the smaller one used on newer products - Just ask the guys at Apple - the call is free and they would know for certain.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it worked for me so I could use the same charger for both mac books but beware as it comes off. Put it in a safe place.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will. I have two of them. I keep one in my bag and one around the house for chargers I have when I work in different places.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have an older power supply with the older style MagSafe connector (slightly larger), then this will allow you to plug it into the new MacBooks. However, you need to make sure your older power supply puts out enough power for the new MacBook (60W or 85W). The smaller MacBooks like the MacBook Air use 60W while the larger MacBooks like the 15" need the larger 85W power supplies to charge properly.
