Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the pencil 2 has pressure sensitivity (4000 and some odd levels), as well as other industry standards. As for cases, there are some on the market that have a bump out specifically for the apple pencil to attach and charge when not in use. Others have a pocket or sleeve to hold the pencil without charging. I would personally avoid them, as if you need to use the pencil for anything, you would have to let it charge before using. I use the UAG case and it has a flap that folds over the pencil while it is stowed on the side of the ipad allowing for pencil charging while idle. Your needs may be different.
