I have an iPad Air 4th generation. When I purchased this Apple Pencil about 4 months ago it connected quickly. The past several months it has taken much longer to connect…to the point my iPad no longer recognizes it. What are my options to revolve this. null

Try rebooting you ipad and see if it self corrects

Make sure Apple updates are done.  Try to remove pen completely, then pairing again.

Is it taking a full charge? It sounds like the battery might be the issue. If it's not the battery, I think that you could reinstall and possibly fix this but I can't say for sure.
