“When not in use I leave my Apple Pencil attached to my iPad Pro, will this damage the pencil in anyway by leaving it always attached charging to the iPad Pro?”

No the Apple Pencil was designed to be able to handle it sitting in a charger position for a prolonged period of time ..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, it is completely harmless to consistenly leave your Pencil in a "Charging" state. The iPad Pro will only charge it up to 80%, then a "trickle" charge is administered for the remaining 20%. Once the Pencil has reached 100%, the "trickle" charge will go into affect when the iPad Pro senses the Pencil charge drop below 100%.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not think that it will cause damage. Apple has advertised the magnetic charging connextion to double as storage. Worst case, contact their support or look at their help pages on their site. The info will be there.
