“Is there a Apple Care plan for the pencil? I had the wireless mouse that stopped working 2 weeks after it's 1 year warranty. It wasn't beat up or anything either, it just sat on the desk. This pencil has a 1 year warranty also. Should be longer than 1 yr.”

If you get apple care for your iPad, it covers the apple pen, also.
