• This Apple Pencil has a built-in USB-C port to charge it. The top of its slides open to reveal the USB-C port. No adapter will be needed.

• you do not need a adapter to charge the 3 generation apple pencil. To charge it you just get the charger it came with and plug it in the USB-C and the iPad and it will charge
