Does this work with any carrier? other countries? null

I'm not much of an apple person but I thought that their products created a proprietary style device but the only way you'll know that it's a USB type-c is the bottom is a long rectangle and within the long rectangle is another skinny rectangle come come in. I don't know unless you either find it in your instructions or call the tech department.
