“What year is this iPad and can it still update the most recent IOS update?”

• I have this model, it is 8 years old and still going strong. These were built from 2012 until Oct 2014. My current iOS version is 10.3.3 (and is considered up-to-date). So, quite a bit behind current version. I would conclude that it cannot take the latest iOS updates.
