QuestionI currently have a smartphone and at and t prepaid. Will with iPad Air function as a replacement of my smartphone (which I would like to retire)? Essentially, does the WiFi plus cellular function as a cell phone? sim card included?

- Answer Hi Mish, It will not. iPads or any tablet cannot function as a cell phone on its own. They can sync with a phone to be able to receive texts and calls that the phone would receive, but you would still need the phone. David, AT&T Community Specialist

QuestionI understand that this unit is refurbished, but what kind of refurbished condition is this?...ie fair/good/very good/like new? I don't want a scratched up refurbished unit. Thanks

- Answer When you are searching Refurbished iPads to purchase, the description usually states the condition of the iPad case itself. Mine said good condition and it actually was in excellent condition when I received it – it had no scratches or dents and looked perfect. Note that this was MY experience.

- Answer When you purchase a refurbished iPad through Best Buy it states whether or not it has cellular and which cellular Provider it has. I have AT&T and I purchased an iPad that came with AT&T cellular.
