• No it does not work with the iPod touch. It is meant to be used for the Apple TV 2nd and 3rd generation. It also doesn’t connect via bluetooth, but thru infrared light; it carries signals between the remote and the Apple TV. Lastly, you can also utilize this remote with your iMac or Macbooks. It can control your iTunes library, from playing, pausing, skipping or replaying songs.
