Q: QuestionWhy is the 4k remote only $59 and the 4th Gen (previous model priced at $79? I need to replace my 4th gen remote so could I technically just buy the cheaper yet newer 4k remote as a replacement?

• A:Answer I was in the Apple Store last week. They said the newer 4k remote is for the 4k apple tv and the 4th generation apple tv. So yes you can.
