“Do the iPad Pro and the Smart Keyboard both fit into the Smart Cover or do you have to carry the Smart Keyboard separately? Thank you”

I have not personally tried it, but I would think not. I believe both items attach to the magnetic connection along the edge of the iPad. So I don't see that you could have both of them connected at the same time.

Well, you can use the Smart Cover OR the Smart Keyboard. Not both at the same time. Fortunately, the Smart Keyboard is a cover in and of itself. Check out some YouTube videos of it to get a clear idea of what it does.

This cover only covers the screen. The smart keyboard nor the Apple pen will fit in it. You will need a different case.

I purchased a hard cover for the back. I also use the smart cover and smart keyboard it fits perfectly into my case. I seldom we move the keyboard

They are part of the same case the do not detach. It folds into the case
