“I bought Apple’s ‘Smart Case’ for my iPad — it was pricey, but the iPad sits snugly into the back of the case, and there’s a trifold front cover that wakes/sleeps them. My question is: IS THIS A FRONT (SCREEN) COVER ONLY? Or is it a complete case?”

Front cover only, but snug and conservatively attractive.

Please try again later.The Apple Smart Cover Only covers the screen it has a felt like lining that protects your screen and is held on by a magnet attached to the side of the iPad if you can find the matching color silicone case That part actually protects the back of the iPad as well as the sides but they are becoming increasingly hard to find especially both of the same color Apple has discontinued them they are very rare if you have an I pad for I would track down the cover and the case as quickly as possible this is being posted February 11, 2018 , if you can find the case and the cover it is 100% worth buying I would not recommend buying aftermarket they usually wind up damaging your iPad .
