Q: QuestionWill this charge my HP Spectre laptop? And will it charge fast? My other cable broke so I don't want to spend money on another bulky port I just need a cable.
Asked by Val.
- A:Answer I have the cable connected from my MBP to my USB-C monitor and it will charge and run the display at the same time. This will work as long as your monitor is plugged into power.

Q: QuestionWill I be able to use this cable to upload photos from an Apple iPhone 8+ to an HP Pavillion Desktop?
Asked by Sally.
- A:Answer Previous answer about USB 3 (type “C”) is now incorrect. iPhone 15 models all have C ports. 15 and 15 plus are USB 2, 15 pro and 15 pro max are USB 3, with transfer rates of 5gb. You can actually get mini SSD drives that clip on to the iPhone and enable HI-video recording, among other functions.

Q: QuestionIf I have a Sandisk Extereme portable SSD external Drive , do I need a thunderbolt 3 cable to make it run at the fastest speed ? or can I just plug the regular Usb-c 3.2 gen-2 into the thunderbolt part on the mid-2017 imac.
Asked by SG.
- A:Answer I have read complaints about slow write times associated with the SanDisk Extreme SSD, but they have all been from Windows users. I bought a 1TB portable SanDisk SSD that includes a Thunderbolt cable, along with an adapter that makes it compatible with older USB ports. It is very fast, in my opinion. I think the difference would be negligible on a Mac, and Apple accessories being notoriously expensive, I'd save my money.

Q: QuestionCan I use this adaptor to connect my 2019 MacBook Pro (Usb-c) to use my older iMac display (2015) thunderbolt as a secondary monitor?
Asked by SBee.
