“If I replaced an old Apple TV with the newest one do I have to reinstall the apps?”

• There is an option in Users and Accounts - "One Home Screen". Turn this on in the menu on your existing device. Then setup the new device using the same Apple ID as the first unit. When you get the unit up and running, it will D/L all the apps that you have loaded and the folders too. Though you will have to login to everything all over again - it doesn't transfer that information. HTH
