“I use Apple TV streaming device on the two TV's we have. I noticed I'm getting a monthly charge for Apple. Both TVs are "Smart" so do I really need a streaming device to access Disney+, Amazon Prime video and Netflix?”

The monthly charge is NOT from the Apple TV device. Most likely, you are subscribed to Apple TV +, which is a streaming service Apple offers.

Google it for better step by step instructions. AppleTv is just great for convenience if you have all apple products in your house. You don’t need it per say

Contact Apple directly to find out what you are being charged for. 2) If you already have a smart TV, you don't need another Apple TV but many users prefer the speed, fluid interface and lack of ads that Apple TV provides — not to mention all of the integrations with the rest of your Apple devices.
