Yes, the AppleTV will work for you, provided your TV has an HDMI port, (look at the back of the TV and you will be able to tell), and a WiFi connection. The Apple TV connects to your TV using an HDMI cable. The Wi Fi connection is used to stream programming, via the Apple TV, on your TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will be fine. It's plug and play as they say. If you had experience with an Apple device it makes it easier but it's so simple that it's not hard to figure out. This isn't a good cable replacement unless if you want to use YouTube TV, Fubo TV, Sling TV etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m using the top of the line Samsung plasma from 2010 in one of my rooms. The picture is killer, but the apps and UI is very klunky. We exclusively use the Apple TV for streaming on it when not watching the DVR and it works great. The picture is also excellent, even in HD (as opposed to 4K on our other sets - watched a football game on FS1 recently that was 4K and it was amazing)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sure it can help. It can play all the apps you need/want and you can also play games on it. Might be overkill for your needs though. I am happy with my mine, very fast performance and does everything I need/want.
