“Can you upload movies to Apple tv from Netflix? I was told i could upload movies and watch them where i do not have internet. At cabin in the woods.”

I don’t think you can. I’m pretty sure you can’t do that but you can store movies and tv shows and watch them. You would have to get them from iTunes. Without internet you can’t stream anything so you would have to download all of your shows to the Apple TV storage.

You cannot upload movies to an Apple TV. You can upload movies to an Apple iPad using Netflix to watch when you have no wifi. But Apple TV does not work for this.

according to this article on netflix, not directly. https://help.netflix.com/en/node/54816 However, what you could so is download to your iphone/ipad and then airplay to your AppleTv.
