• the device itself doesn’t have a screen. You plug it into your own television. It’s a streaming device. Not an actual tv.

• It is called Apple TV but it is not actual TV. It is a console box such as a cable box operated in Apple tvOS so it does not have a screen and needs to connect to a TV to watch by a HDMI cable. Apple tvOS provides an Apple store so you can download apps such as Netflix, CNN or HBO and you can watch the contents via the apps.
