What is the advantage of the 64GB over the 32GB? From my understanding, movies are not stored on the device, so is the storage only use for music and apps? null

It’s mainly for apps. It’s worth getting the 64gig since it’s not much of a price difference.

It's mostly used for apps. In early 2017 Apple increased the app size limit from 200MB (0.2GB) to 4GB. So if you plan on installing a lot of apps, games specifically, then the larger size is going to be beneficial. From my understanding the storage is also used as a cache for streamed content. If you plan on doing mainly streaming then the 32GB is fine.

Yes that’s pretty much it, specially if you’re using it to play games there’s some that are pretty big so if you don’t really play games get the small one, it’s one of the best streamers around
