With the new Apple TV, Anything you purchase from iTunes will appear! As long as you are connected to the WiFi. You can also download them to the Apple TV so you can have access to them even when WiFi is not available.

I watch shows on my Apple TV all the time that are in my itunes account. I have watched full seasons of shows in a weekend. Not sure if that helps you or not.
