• The Apple TV going back to 2007 is compatible with the Roku TV. An HDMI cable is all you need to get audio and video from the Apple TV to the television. The settings app on the Apple TV will allow it to test to ensure it can do Dolby Vision; if that is a concern. Any HDMI cable that Best Buy offers will do the trick. The $5 one, or the $1000 one.

• Correct, all you would need is an HDMI cable. Also, you will notice a significant picture quality difference compared to the built-in Roku TV.
