“How can I get ATV remote to turn on the TV consistently? I bought this and a TCL TV last week from BB - I have CEC enabled in TV - Roku and Firesticks were tested all turn the TV on. This will only power off the TV - but it won't power it on.”

Our Apple TV turns the TV on and off consistently, plus controls TV volume.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had to hunt around on the TV itself to find the HDMI-CEC setting that allows your remote to control other connected devices. For some TVs, enabling HDMI-CEC allows your remote to control other devices connected via HDMI. The set manufacturer did not make this a straight forward effort. Had to search the web for the model to find instructions on where this setting was hiding.
