Yes, any internet provider you have will work, I do recommend you have a strong wifi connection, you can call in this case Frontier internet and let them you know you will be steaming in HD and they should be able to set you up with the right speed you will need, it may cost a little more, I probably recommend you try it first without contacting them using your Wi-Fi connection, if you feel its too slow or its buffering too much give them a call. 

As far as watching Live TV, you can download the apps like Hulu offers a Live TV Bundle, Sling, ATT TV, and I am sure there are others, I know Sling is pretty good and has a pretty good channel selection but check their websites, I like HGTV so I stick with Hulu lol they also have on demand stuff.
