• It will not work with any iPad this only works with new MacBooks or other laptops with a usb c port

• Yes it will. The quick setup is the lighting end into your IPad Pro. Run the hdmi into your TV. But for ultimate viewing of a movie/sports, do this. Lightning connector end into the adaptor, hdmi cable from the adaptor to a projector. Use a Bluetooth speaker and you have a home theater.
