• No. iPads and iPhones use lightning connectors. This adapter is for USB-C which is a different connector. So it will not work.

• The Apple USB-C to Digital AV adapter is primarily designed to connect to the thunderbolt port of a MacBook Pro which is different than the lightening port found on an iPad. Hope that answers your question.
