“Does this adapter impact laptop sound (i.e., video & such). I have another similar (non-apple) adapter and the sound doesn't work on the laptop when I'm using the VGA adapter. Thank you”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your using a Mac/ MacBook you will need to go to system preferences then go to sound and tell it to use built in speakers if your monitors doesn’t have speakers attached and vice versa if you want the sound to play through the monitor ie tv
