The item I purchased is a simple wall adapter that connects the phone’s power source (battery) to a standard US electrical outlet. It has no other function(s). What you need is a recent model flash device that has the versatility to upload, download and transfer photos between a variety of devices. They can also serve as photo storage devices. They do this by virtue of offering two or more different types ports on a single flash device. As the appropriate ports are built in, no special adapter is necessary for photo transfer operations. I intend to buy one for myself in the very near future!
