I was just at Verizon inquiring about Apple Watches and was told if I purchased the SE and paid an additional $10/month on my cell bill, that if the watch detects a fall with no movement it will call 911 and my emergency contact and give my location using GPS.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Haven’t used it but from what I understand it uses a force sensor and when it feels a force of a fall it triggers. I believe you have to turn it on and be within range of your phone to work ie call 911
