bought it with out any carrier and works perfectly with boost here in ny .. I feel like is more expensive with a carrier

If you buy from carrier like ATT or Verizon then it will have cellular service, which might not work in Brazil. So suggest buy from a retailer like Best Buy the GPS version of the watch

If you buy the GPS only version (non-cellular), you don’t need to worry about the carrier. The GPS only watch will work with you iPhone regardless of carrier or your location.

I bought from Best Buy (gps only) so no need to get from a cattier.
