I have not used a case and have no scratches. I bump it on things all day. You can buy a protective case for about 10 dollars if that would lessen you screen anxiety.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.So far, so good. My job isn’t physically demanding but I lift and run everyday and it’s been banged once or twice. It has no damage however. They do sell screen protectors for them if you really want one and are concerned about damage.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It seems to hold up pretty well, but I'd definitely get a screen protector, case, or both. I have a cheap bumper case that protects the sides and keeps most stuff away from the face.

I traded it in about 4 weeks ago on a Nike+ Series 4 (GPS) and have not put a screen protector on it, either, The face of these watches seem pretty rugged.

I would get one of the rugged watch covers that add modest bulk but look good and protect well. Screen protectors for added assurances can’t hurt. I have knocked mine around a lot and yet it still looks new. But I work in an office. I’d get some protection if I were you. You’ll love the watch...
