• a simpe turn of the wrist shows the watch face, that small movement shows the face, I have the apple watch

• The new Iwatch 5 will be an always on display option and also almost double the battery life even with the display on all time.

• I own an Apple Watch Series 4 and no it does not have an always on screen like a real watch. The new Series 5 Apple Watch will have a “always” on screen like a real watch. I’d suggest waiting for that. It’ll be ready for pre order this month I believe.
