• We have them hooked up with AT&T so it’s a small fee . I’m not sure if it can be hooked up to WiFi?

• You can, yes. Apart from that, the “gps and cellular” feature allows your phone to be away from the watch (take a walk and leave phone behind) but that option requires a subscription from carrier. $10/mo from Verizon.
