“Can I buy this and not connect the cellular part? Will it still work like a gps one would?”

This question is for: Apple Watch SE (GPS + Cellular) 40mm Aluminum Case with Plum Sport Loop - Gold - (2020)

If you don’t connect the cellular the only way the GPS will work is if you have a phone paired with it. Otherwise you lose that functionality.

Spoke with Apple directly yesterday about this question. They informed me you can set it up without activating the cellular. It will ask during set up if you wish to activate cellular and you just say not now at that option. However, they did not say if it will continually ask you this question every time it’s turned on or retain the choice and not pester you about it lol.
