“My watch only charges for one day.!if I turn it off the next day it’s dead. So even if it is Powered off with charge left it is dead the next day. It’s as though it does not turn off.do I need to turn my phone off at the same time?”

The watch doesn't turn off. It does need to be charged every night. Your phone is on or not does not affect the battery of the watch. If you want your charge to last longer, you can turn off the Bluetooth but then you will lose those features. I just put my watch on the charger overnight and never have a problem with not having enough charge to get through the day.
