The main difference is that the GPS-only Apple Watch requires your iPhone to be nearby to make calls, send texts, and use internet features, while the GPS + Cellular model can operate independently, allowing you to make calls and send messages without your phone nearby. Additionally, the Cellular model typically costs more upfront and has a monthly service fee, but offers more convenience for users who want to stay connected while away from their phone. For instance, if you accidentally leave your phone behind when you leave the house, or you are upstairs & the phone is downstairs, you can still send & receive texts and phone calls when you're wearing the watch. The sound is so good, people tell me they don't even know I'm speaking to them from my watch.
