• I had this happen to me. Make sure you haven't accidentally put it in Theater Mode (two mask icon), which prevents the watch from coming on when you raise your arm.

• Go to your watch app on your phone. The setting is under General, then Wake Screen and you can select the setting for Wake Screen on Wrist Raise.
