• This version does not have cellular capability, just GPS. Sounds like this is the correct model for you.

• It is stand alone. There are no additional fees for having it. If you opt for the watch with the cellular feature then you will likely need to pay an additional fee to turn on the standalone cellular option. Otherwise it is simply a smartwatch that syncs to your phone.

• Sam, you only need a monthly plan if you want to purchase the watch that has the cellular feature. Otherwise, it just runs off of bluetooth and wifi.

• Not is you buy the version without the internal radio. The one I have is the one you have to pair with your phone. It has some stand alone functions, but to use the phone/data uses you have to have your phone with you. I also didn’t want another phone charge and it honestly hasn’t bothered me because I always have my phone in my bag. But if you travel light or run a lot, it might be worth it.
