Odd as it seems, I didn't buy my Watch 4 cell+GPS to use with cell service. I pair it with my iPhone. I bought it because only the cel+GPS comes with the stainless steel case. Knowing that i can add the watch to my cell plan (Sprint) is a nice to have but right now I'd rather not pay the extra monthly cost when the Watch communicates with the iPhone to obtain cell service or to a nearby WiFi (home, work, public). So, if you can have your phone near you all the time or WiFi access for data, then you really don't need the cell service. But if you intend to leave the phone behind, I believe it is easy enough to activate the cell service, probably cheapest to go with the carrier that provides you cell phone service.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not 100% sure, but I have T-Mobile and works just fine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know if the item is "Unlocked." I have only used my carrier for the last 10 years. It works for me.
