A:AnswerI bought an open box of this same model and in my case it was brand new. It was obvious that it was a gift for someone that didn’t want it and was only looked at it. It had never been powered on and had zero fingerprints on it. Well I’ve had mine for 6 months now and have no regrets, it has always worked flawlessly. I’m still enjoying the fact that I saved a worthwhile amount of cash buying with the open box options. Besides if Best Buy sends you one that’s less than perfect they would take it back and try again.
