• You can use your Apple Watch device without having it be connected to the iPhone. For example, if going on runs, you don’t have to lug around your phone and you’d still be able to make phone calls with the Apple Watch only with cellular. Where as with just the GPS you can make calls but only when it’s near the iPhone
