Q: QuestionAnyone ever use it for paddling in open water to get distance?

• A:Answer I haven't, but I want to try it. I wonder if it would require you to have the phone with you and whether it would require you to have a phone signal. Also, in the workout app there is a choice for rowing, so I don't know whether that might work.

Q: QuestionWill I be able to use this watch (Just GPS) internationally or will I have to unlock it? How does that work? And will I be able to answer calls & texts if I have my phone near me?

• A:Answer If you have the GPS version the watch's only connection is to your phone. There's nothing you need to unlock on the GPS version to use international. As long as your phone has a bluetooth connection to your phone and they are within bluetooth range you will be able to answer phone calls and texts on the watch.

Q: QuestionIs there Nickel in either the watch case or any of the bands? I have many serious allergies and am unable to wear anything containing Nickel even if there’s any type of “plating” over the Nickel. I need to purchase the 44 due to vision issues. Thank you.

• A:Answer You have to install the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. On that app, you will be able to see faces in the 'Gallery'. Choose the one (or more) that you like. Save each one, one at a time. once the faces are saved, then, you use your PHONE to switch the faces on your watch. You can't switch faces using the watch itself, you have to use your phone. Most of the faces are somewhat customizable, you can decide colors and in what position you want some of the features to be on the face. You can delete a face if you get tired of it, and download faces over and over again By the way, since you have the watch, all info on watch use is available online on Apple's website under 'support'.

• A:Answer The Apple watch GPS version (No cell phone plan) can do everything the Cellular version can with the exception of making calls without a bluetooth connection to your phone. The Cellular version, for example, would allow you to leave your phone in the car while you run in the park and you'll still be able to stream music, make calls, and answer texts.

Q: Questioni recently purchased and Apple Watch, series 6. There was an additional (one time) charge of $45.8 for setup. An additional phone linewas added (apparently for the watch). Please explain the function of the additional phone line.

• A:Answer Make sure that you are not being charged by your carrier for an extra line for the watch. I believe it maybe so that the functionality can work without your phone being near. Your mobile carrier can answer you better.
