Once you setup the watch, it will ask if you want to add a line for the watch $15 monthly for T-Mobile, which I’d recommend so.. so much easier to run with the watch and not worry about bringing your phone with... i hope it helps

Hi! Yes, for the Apple watch you will need a cellular service for the Apple Watch! It usually costs an extra $15 for service added to your existing plan. I don’t it needs an additional phone number.

It only costs $10 extra per month, not $15 to have cellular hooked up with T-Mobile for the Apple Watch.
