In order to use this cable, you will have to buy the Apple 20w power brick that is USB-C. You can use an older generation 5w power brick with the older USB Apple Watch cable and it’ll charge the new Series 7 Watch but it’ll take forever to get a full charge. I highly recommend upgrading to the USB-C power brick. The fast charging capability on the watch is amazing and very convenient.
