It’s a separate package and you pay monthly for it…my Mother has ACUTE Afib and it’s a comforting device to go hand in hand with the iPhone we got her…

Lets you know heart rate walking and resting too. Also states it will let you know if any episodes of afib. Has EKG function as well. I have been impressed with these features. It also shows you the EKG but the only interpretation is if in afib.
