- Answer The $79 Apple Care is for Apple Watch Series 4 and later. The $49 Apple Care is for Apple Watch Series 3 & earlier. QuestionI bought an Apple Watch and appleCare for Watch - 2 year plan in July. Within the first 2 weeks of wearing the watch, the face of my watch is chipped - do I go to Best Buy or Apple to get it fixed? Do I need to call for an an appointment ahead of time?
