- Answer The output cable of the solar panel is built into the panel housing, so i dont think there is anyway to attach this 25 ft. charging cable to the magnetic end of the solar panel cable. If you are handy you could cut and splice the 25 ft cable to the solar panel cable using a piece of heat shrink tube to seal it from rain, weather etc...... its probably only 2 little wires, not rocket science.

- Answer No not the newer cameras. They take a big block shaped 1 1/2” in size battery. They last a lot longer than most. You can buy a bigger that could last 6 months. The cord works great never have to worry

- Answer Yes. The 25 ft cable has the small AC to DC transformer that plugs into the 120v outlet. If your camera is outside I'd recommend the solar panel charger; so far ours has been working great and I didn't like the idea of having to get up on a ladder every 2 or 3 months to charge the batteries.
