• Yes, as long it will not be exposed directly to rain and the room environment is within 0 to 45 degree Celsius. ^RM

• I don’t see why not! It comes with a way to install it on a wall too if you’d like to place it in the corner of the garage.

• I had originally planned on using mine in the garage and don't think it would be an issue. I would not recommend for outdoor use where it would be exposed to rain, extreme cold.
