“Does this require a “chime” be attached to the existing doorbell chime inside the home like the wired model does?”

• It's not required, but if it is wired to the existing wired doorbell system, when the button is pushed it will ring the existing chime in addition to sending you an immediate phone call.

• You can either go wireless or hardwired. If you choose wireless, you will only receive notifications thru the app. if you hardwire, you will receive notifications on the app, and the chime will ring if the doorbell is pressed.
