• If your existing Arlo base station for the VMC3030 camera is the model number VMB3000 and you are planning to connect the Arlo Essential XL camera to it, then it will not work, as they are not compatible. However, you may connect the Arlo Essential XL camera directly to your router's wifi network and add it to your existing Arlo account.
